Fishing
In summer, fishing on lakes and rivers is a peaceful way to enjoy the outdoors.
Lake Kemijärvi, the Suomujoki river and the local ponds hold pike, perch and whitefish, and in the light of the summer night you can go fishing at any hour. The shores at the Räisälä ferry and the Pirttiniemi lean-to are good places to start.
